A rapidly growing, high-fashion, multi-channel luxury brand was experiencing growth in all channels but needed a way to achieve inventory and product delivery synergy across them all.

Achieve synergy across wholesale, retail and e-commerce with a flexible and productive design that would endure and remain profitable for many years.

Our Solution

Our LogistiPoint team answered the challenge by designing and implementing an omni-channel DC that would support all of the client’s retail, wholesale and e-commerce customers. Capitalizing on the efficiencies gained by consolidating operations, a state of the art goods-to-person storage and picking technology was deployed. However, significant portions of the operation were not compatible with the newest technology and were designed with a more traditional approach. LogistiPoint coordinated the design and implementation of this 750,000 square foot DC in collaboration with the client team, the MHE vendors, the WMS vendor and the building construction firm.

The Results

Operating cost savings were realized through the advanced goods-to-person technology while the combining of facilities improved the availability of common inventory, provided a basis for better sell-through of merchandise and greatly reduced overhead costs related to space and labor. The facility was completed on time and in budget and hit the client’s peak season requirements in the first year.
